Angie Ramirez was a wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to many. She served the community of Roswell as an RISD teacher for 29 years, with most of her career teaching at Missouri Avenue Elementary. Angie was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and passed away after a 2-year fight in 2019. Her love and gratitude for the community's response during her battle was considered nothing less than a blessing. The "Angie Ramirez Memorial Foundation" (ARM) was created March 14, 2019, in response to show appreciation and support not only to the community, but to local teachers fighting cancer. The financial impact can be a burden to the fighter and the family. The Ramirez family would like to carry on the love Angie possessed by supporting others in similar situations. Angie was extremely blessed by the community, and she would only want to be a blessing in return.
We are proud to partner with a variety of local organizations to provide the best possible support to our local educators and their families. Our partners help us extend our reach and impact within the community.
Together, we can create positive change. Support our cause and help us make a lasting impact on the community.
